FM Qureshi claims that the Taliban is moving towards an inclusive government in Afghanistan

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi stated on Wednesday that the Taliban were moving toward a more inclusive administration. His remarks came a day after Tajik, Uzbek, and Hazara members were admitted into the temporary Afghan government.

FM Qureshi made these comments while participating in a media discussion hosted by the Foreign Press Association in which he spoke electronically with members from across the world.

The international world has cautioned that it would evaluate the Taliban based on their actions, and that recognition of a Taliban-led government would be conditional on how women and minorities are treated, as well as the participation of other groups in the administration.

It is his understanding that the Afghan government is growing and that other ethnic groups are being brought into the fold as well.

The foreign minister praised the Afghan Taliban for integrating members from a wide range of ethnic groups in their ranks, and he urged the international community not to forsake the country at this crucial moment in its history.

"If this information is accurate, it indicates that they are going in the path of collectivism and inclusiveness, which is the correct way. An all-inclusive political solution in Afghanistan is being discussed by the international community at the moment. The international world is concerned with ensuring that terrorist organizations do not establish a foothold in Afghanistan. However, the Taliban have also said that they would not allow the Afghan land to be used against any other countries in the future. We expect the Taliban to follow through on their pledges in a responsible manner "He went on to say more.

Foreign Minister Qureshi said the United States made the correct choice to remove its troops from Afghanistan after they had accomplished their objectives since, according to Washington, the country's role in the country had been finished.

According to Qureshi, all of Afghanistan's neighbors, including Pakistan, desire peace in the nation. He said that responsible behavior on the part of the Taliban administration was in the group's own best interests, according to him.

Taliban declarations of an end to the conflict, respect for human rights, and amnesty are seen promising by Qureshi, who believes the international world should not abandon Afghans at this crucial time.

On social media, he pointed out, Afghan women can be seen demonstrating in the streets, as shown by viral footage of the protests. Qureshi said that the same event would not have been feasible 20 years ago and that it is a sign that things are changing in Afghanistan.

The unfreezing of Afghans' frozen assets, according to the foreign minister, would assist the country's recovery from its humanitarian crisis. The allocation of $1.2 billion in humanitarian aid to Afghanistan was announced in Geneva, and the foreign minister expressed delight.

His remarks were also accompanied by the observation that Pakistan has been sheltering more than three million Afghan refugees for more than four decades without the assistance of the international community. He cautioned the international community that if the situation in Afghanistan worsens, the likelihood of an inflow of migrants would grow.

He went on to say that Pakistan could not support any more refugees.

In his statement, Qureshi said that Pakistan provided unlimited assistance for the safe evacuation of diplomatic personnel and residents of many nations from Kabul, but that Pakistan's good actions were not recognized.

India's foreign minister further said that the country's goal is to sow discord in Pakistan. "India exploited Afghan land against us, and we have given evidence of this to the world," he added.

"Peace and stability in the area are things we desire. However, in response to our wish for peace, India has taken unilateral actions in Kashmir on August 5, 2019, which have aggravated the situation further."
