According to reports, the much-anticipated Marvel project Eternals has been banned in Saudi Arabia and other countries, including Qatar and Kuwait, because it promotes a sam sex relationship.
In an article published by The Hollywood Reporter, the gulf rejected Chloe Zhao's directorial film because of the relationship between Brian Tyree Henry (as Phaistos) and Ben (as played by Haaz Sleiman) in the film.
The film's plot revolves around a weapon inventor named Phaistos, who lives with his husband Ben and their child. The film is the first in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and marks a watershed moment in the franchise's history.
