The 7th T20 Cricket World Cup, the International Cricket Council's Men's Cricket T20 World Cup 2021, will be held in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from October 17 to November 14, 2021. It was originally planned for Australia from October 18 to November 15, 2020, with the competition taking place in Melbourne. However, the International Cricket Council (ICC) declared in July 2020 that the event had been postponed until 2021 as a result of the COVID-19 virus outbreak in the country. The International Cricket Council (ICC) renewed India's hosting of the 2021 World Cup in August 2020.

T20 World Cup will be held in 2021
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has made a definitive decision on which country would host the Men's Twenty20 World Cup in 2021, and it has made it plain that the BCCI will maintain hosting rights regardless of where the tournament is held in the world.
Because of the very poor COVID pandemic scenario in India, the second leg of the IPL 2021 will be held in the United Arab Emirates. The T20 World Cup will be hosted by the BCCI in the United Arab Emirates and Oman in 2021. The final decision has been made on the location of the Twenty20 World Cup in 2021. The International Cricket Council has announced that the competition would be held in the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
In 2021 and 2022, there will be two consecutive Twenty20 World Cups. The International Cricket Council's Cricket Control Board confirmed in April 2018 that the T20 World Cup in 2021 would replace the Champions Trophy in 2021, which will now be held in Australia in 2022.
T20 World Cup 2021 Schedule
In round 1, eight teams are competing in matches divided into two groups. Group A consists of Sri Lanka, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Namibia, while Group B consists of Bangladesh, Scotland, Papua New Guinea, and the United Arab Emirates. Two teams will be selected from each group to advance. These four countries will subsequently join the eight teams that have previously qualified (India, West Indies, England, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan, and Afghanistan) in the Super 12 tournament. The semi-finals will be held on the 10th and 11th of November. The final match of the ICC Men's Twenty20 World Cup 2021 is expected to take place on November 14.
The T20 World Cup 2020 has been postponed until 2022 because of the Covid-19, while the T20 World Cup 2021 schedule should remain the same as previously scheduled.
